En 2013, nuestra comunidad recibi\u00f3 una llamada de atenci\u00f3n. En 2013, nuestra comunidad recibi\u00f3 una llamada de atenci\u00f3n. Fundaci\u00f3n Comunitaria del \u00c1rea de Rochester<\/a> y ACT Rochester mostraba que Rochester ten\u00eda algunas de las tasas de pobreza m\u00e1s altas y las concentraciones de pobreza m\u00e1s profundas del pa\u00eds. Ante un reto tan desalentador, Rochester ha hecho lo que siempre se nos da mejor: unirse.<\/a>. <\/p>

A trav\u00e9s de la Iniciativa contra la Pobreza de Rochester-Monroe, nos unimos de una forma sin precedentes para identificar las causas profundas de la pobreza. Los socios introdujeron cambios en sus organizaciones y en todos los sectores, creando un sistema en el que todos los miembros de la comunidad tienen un lugar en la mesa. Nos comprometimos a tomar todas nuestras decisiones teniendo como tel\u00f3n de fondo nuestros principios rectores para hacer frente al racismo estructural, abordar el trauma y construir y apoyar a nuestra comunidad.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Juntos hemos estudiado las causas profundas de la pobreza en Rochester y hemos emprendido acciones para abordarlas. Tras emitir un informe de situaci\u00f3n, los socios de RMAPI asumieron las recomendaciones iniciales de nuestra comunidad, ayudando a sacar a la gente de la pobreza mientras trabaj\u00e1bamos juntos para encontrar soluciones a largo plazo.<\/p>

Esta ha sido una peque\u00f1a parte del trabajo m\u00e1s amplio de RMAPI. Los proveedores de servicios han formado nuevas asociaciones para comprender mejor la experiencia que viven las personas cuando buscan trabajo, navegan por los servicios humanos y encuentran una vivienda segura y asequible. Los empresarios han introducido cambios en las pr\u00e1cticas de contrataci\u00f3n y retenci\u00f3n que ayudan a las personas en el camino hacia la autosuficiencia. Decenas de organizaciones han respondido a la llamada de RMAPI para aumentar los salarios, con lo que m\u00e1s de 11.000 empleados han alcanzado los 15 $\/hora o m\u00e1s s\u00f3lo en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o.<\/p>

En 2022, RMAPI public\u00f3 su nuevo Plan de Acci\u00f3n de Unidad. El Plan de Acci\u00f3n de Unidad es una hoja de ruta para lograr la mitigaci\u00f3n de la pobreza en el Gran Rochester centrada en aumentar la Dignidad y la Pertenencia, el Poder y la Autonom\u00eda, y el \u00c9xito Econ\u00f3mico para todos los miembros de la comunidad.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
